What is the difference between TOG 1 and TOG 2.5?
TOG 1 has 20g DuPont polyester fill — lightweight and breathable for year-round comfort. TOG 2.5 has 80g DuPont polyester fill — deeper, cozier warmth for cooler nights and temperature-controlled rooms. Many parents keep one of each for different seasons.
What is a TOG rating?
TOG measures thermal warmth — the higher the number the warmer the sleep sack. TOG 1 is ideal for year-round use in rooms kept at 68-72°F. TOG 2.5 is better for cooler rooms or nights when the temperature drops below 68°F. When in doubt choose TOG 1 — you can always add a layer underneath.
